A private disagreement between two educators at a Miami boarding school ended in violence and criminal charges on July 17. According to police records, Terrod Tiyan Torrence and Odiria Biggins previously shared a romantic relationship and have a child together. The two agreed to meet inside Classroom 119 at The SEED School of Miami after Torrence left a written note on Biggins" desk requesting a conversation.

Based on the arrest affidavit, Biggins informed investigators that Torrence struck her repeatedly on the side of the head and slammed her against a wall. The blow knocked her unconscious onto the floor. When she recovered, the conflict took another turn across the school grounds.
Biggins walked to her vehicle and retrieved a container of pepper spray. According to video footage reviewed by authorities, she tracked Torrence to another room on campus and sprayed him directly. Bystanders observed Torrence exit the room visibly distressed with eye injuries before staff members assisted him to a hospital for treatment.
Police took both educators into custody following the incident. Biggins faces charges for discharging a weapon on school grounds along with misdemeanor domestic battery. Authorities later arrested Torrence on a misdemeanor domestic violence charge. Both received two thousand dollar bonds from local judges while school officials have not clarified their current employment status.
