According to field observations, four classrooms and a health clinic room collapsed during the incident. While the main classroom block was cleared, only a small hallway housing the principal's office remains functional. Learning activities on the premises have ceased entirely.
Hundreds of primary students now host their classes at nearby SDN Kebayoran Lama Selatan 11. Parents say the relocation forced students into uncomfortable afternoon schedules that disrupt their daily routines and evening study.
Evi, a 33-year-old parent, recalled the day the building fell during a regional election holiday. "There was no wind and no rain when it began to collapse slowly in the morning," she said. "By afternoon, heavy rain fell and the whole roof came down."
Based on accounts from parents, families feel frustrated by the lack of action from city officials over the past two years. Parents expressed disappointment that an elementary school in the heart of South Jakarta has been left in ruins for so long without repairs.
