"I have received a lot of input that lactation rooms in offices, especially, and also public facilities owned by Jakarta are indeed not yet optimal," Pramono said.
According to Pramono, the administration has begun adding these rooms to newer public facilities. He pointed to the recently inaugurated Nyi Ageng Serang Library as an example of a venue equipped with proper nursing facilities. He noted that as a global city, Jakarta must prepare such services.
The governor emphasized that the provision of lactation spaces will be a priority for the government moving forward. He believes that every new public development needs to include facilities that are comfortable and welcoming for mothers and their children.
Based on his statement, the expansion of these facilities will become a requirement for anyone looking to open a public space in the city. The initiative is part of a larger plan to ensure the capital serves its citizens well.
