Manchester United have struck a deal to secure the signature of Chelsea midfielder Andrey Santos. According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the 22-year-old Brazil international will travel to Manchester on Thursday to complete his medical examinations and finalize his contract signing.

The race for the Brazilian was highly competitive in the Premier League. Based on reports from transfer insider Graeme Bailey, several top English clubs including Aston Villa, Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester City, and Newcastle United had actively explored the possibility of signing Santos before Manchester United sealed the transfer.
The acquisition of Santos marks a busy summer for Manchester United manager Michael Carrick, who has already secured a deal for Atalanta midfielder Ederson Silva. Carrick aims to rebuild his midfield engine room following the departure of veteran Casemiro and a significant injury to Manuel Ugarte.
Manchester United are also looking to add a third midfielder to their ranks, with Real Madrid star Aurelien Tchouameni high on their shortlist. However, Spanish journalist Miguel Serrano reports that the Spanish giants are reluctant to sell the France international, demanding an exorbitant fee of €180 million to even consider a transfer.
Meanwhile, former Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim, who recently took charge of AC Milan, reflected on his turbulent tenure in England. "I learned, and I learned a lot.
