Medical officers estimated the boy was only one week old when he was rescued from the moving train as it passed through the Klaten region toward Solo.
The train workers found the boy and acted quickly. They moved him from the tracks to the hospital. The police said the infant was healthy but needed the quiet care that only doctors could provide. He stays in the hospital now, waiting for the law to find out who left him there.
Based on statement from the Satres PPA/PPO Polresta Solo, investigators are working to find the person who walked away from the child. Detectives are questioning witnesses who were on the train and reviewing security footage from the stations. The search is quiet, methodical, and ongoing.
The investigation has spread beyond the borders of the city. Polresta Solo is now coordinating with the Polda DIY because the train started its journey in Yogyakarta. The police want answers, and they are looking closely at the cameras and the manifests to find out who boarded the Sancaka train with a child and left without him.
