Investigators discovered the luxury sports car hidden deep inside a narrow alley in West Kalimantan, while its keys had been thrown into a nearby ditch to evade law enforcement. According to the Attorney General's Office spokesperson, Anang Supriatna, the dramatic asset recovery took place during a series of coordinated raids conducted between June 11 and June 16, 2026, targeting properties owned by the primary suspect, Sudianto, also known as Aseng.

The sweep targeted multiple locations connected to the illegal mining operations of PT QSS, leading to the recovery of massive wealth allegedly acquired through illicit activities. Beyond the luxury supercar, the authorities confiscated a fleet of heavy machinery, including 46 dump trucks, 10 excavators, two bulldozers, and several commercial vehicles, alongside six parcels of land and buildings located in Pontianak.

A separate raid on the residence of the company's director, identified by the initials AP, uncovered a massive stash of precious metals, prompting investigators to immediately secure eight gold bars weighing a total of 8 kilograms. Officials emphasized that these rigorous enforcement actions are part of a broader, aggressive state strategy aimed at reclaiming public assets and mitigating state losses stemming from corporate environmental exploitation.

The corruption case erupted after PT QSS allegedly engaged in unauthorized bauxite extraction completely outside its licensed concession zones, using forged ministerial documents to export the illegally mined minerals. The Attorney General's Office has currently named five suspects in connection with the conspiracy, including high-ranking corporate executives, an external licensing consultant, and a ministry analyst accused of accepting bribes.
