Legal Battle Over Child Access and Guardian Rights

Prominent TV personality Ruben Onsu has taken legal action to secure custody of his three children, following claims of increasingly restricted visiting access. The lawsuit, registered under case number 756/Pdt.G/2026/PN Jkt.Sel, was submitted through his legal representative, Minola Sebayang, signaling a new chapter in the high-profile family dispute.

Court spokesperson Halida Rahardhini confirmed the filing on Thursday, stating that the petition covers all three children, including an adopted child whose status was legally established in previous court proceedings. The legal move centers primarily on the 42-year-old presenter's struggle to maintain regular contact and physical meetings with his children.

Addressing ongoing public speculation, Rahardhini clarified that the court documents do not contain any allegations of child exploitation. "The case details remain private to protect the best interests of the children, but I can confirm that exploitation is not a factor in this dispute," she stated during an interview at the courthouse.

The initial hearing for the custody battle is scheduled for July 15, 2026, and will be conducted behind closed doors to protect family privacy. Both parties are legally required to attend this opening session to undergo a mandatory mediation process before the court proceeds to examine the core arguments.
