Advancing Aerospace Autonomy and the Low-Altitude Economy

Celebrating 34 years of self-reliance, CT Group has entered a high-velocity expansion phase across its 15 deep-technology subsidiaries during the first half of 2026. The conglomerate is aggressively developing strategic sectors, including unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), low-altitude space economy (LAE), 15-layer national digital twins, biotechnology, semiconductors, and green carbon credits. This massive push addresses a complex path toward domestic technological sovereignty, positioning the Vietnamese firm as a highly integrated global tech player.

The group's aerospace arm, CT UAV, currently operates five AS9100D aerospace-standard manufacturing plants in Ho Chi Minh City alongside 22 research laboratories spanning Vietnam, the US, France, Israel, and Taiwan. Achieving an average localization rate of 87.5% across core fields like aerodynamics, AI-driven flight control, and secure communications, the unit holds 172 intellectual property patents valued at nearly $200 million. Expansion plans feature a new US production facility by late 2026, alongside proposals for massive battery and UAV complexes in Tay Ninh province.

In tandem with manufacturing, subsidiary GASCO-LAE is pioneering Southeast Asia's low-altitude space economy, operating over 600 global services and establishing a massive 500,000-square-meter ASEAN hub near Tan Son Nhat International Airport. Following the launch of ASEAN's first periodic commercial maritime UAV flight path between Can Gio and Vung Tau in February 2026, the company plans to deploy 10,000 automated flights globally. "The group has embraced immense sacrifices to build these strategic labs and factories," stated Tran Kim Chung, Chairman of CT Group, emphasizing the critical transition toward broader state and societal collaboration.

Beyond aerospace, the conglomerate's specialized arms are disrupting global biotech and semiconductor markets. VGCT recently commercialized groundbreaking bio-cornea transplants from animal sources to humans to combat visual impairment across ASEAN, while preparing a precision oncology research center. Simultaneously, CT Group is heavily investing in an end-to-end semiconductor infrastructure encompassing chip design, Gallium Nitride (GaN) photolithography fabrication plants, and advanced assembly, testing, and packaging facilities.
